On a bed in the left side of the room laid the small Sabrina. The girl dawned her normal night shirt, not feeling the urge to get up and change into something more decent, besides she was as comfortable as could be right now. Laying on her side her head was on her pillow and in her arms was the pillow from the other bed in the room. She had no roommate right now so no one should really be bothered by it, and she lacked a stuff animal to hug while she laid so the pillow made a good substitute. There were no classes today so that at least was a plus, but there was still breakfast.

"It's almost time to join the other girls for breakfast. Or it is almost time to go to sleep again. Yep I think I like the second one better than the first one." the small person said a huge grin forming on her face. She then buried her face into the ownerless pillow. In the end she knew she would probably head off to lunch, she was hungry right now and the sound of her stomach annoyed her. Now all the poor girl needed was the motivation to get up and get to said breakfast...Something that was not likely to happen.

With a sigh she laid there, mulling over the problem she currently faced. Being lazy did have it's downsides and the one she had to deal with now was by the far the worst. Well at least she was comfy for the time being but she would have to get her mind out of that comfort zone if she wanted to settle her hunger pains.

Hushed whispers gradually growing louder with each passing second echoed through the hallway. Accompanying it were soft pattering of footsteps. One seemed to be bickering with the other while another tried to calm the two down. No doubt the three were disturbing the residents of the dormitories, and certainly, a few were peering their heads out to see what the commotion was.

An orange haired female, carrying a luggage case in her hands seemed most infuriated with the other, who also held baggage and simply looked exasperated. The dorm mistress was also sighing. The first muttered, "It's all her fault anyway..." The second female bore an incredulous look, "Look. I'm not the one who - "

"Stop it, the both of you." The dorm mistress cut in sharply. "Tazuma-san, you should accept responsibility for this situation as well." Kei just snorted discreetly. The three stopped in front of one dorm room, and the dorm mistress nodded here. "Tazuma-san, we've reassigned you to a new room and roommate due to this misfortune." Her sharp face pinched sharper, then pressed the key in Kei's hand. "Don't cause anymore commotion." And left the fiery female to stand alone, while her previous roommate was taking to her reassigned room.

She poked her tongue out at their backs. Childish, but she didn't care at this point. Actually, she didn't care about her new roommate or room either. Anyone would be better than that Lulim witch. Perhaps they were simply off to a bad start, but first impressions did count for some things. And first impressions this time weren't exactly perfect. Kei knocked on the door once before inserting the given key in the lock and opened it.

"Excuse me."

Sabrina really hadn't notcied any commotion that was coming from the outside. Nor would she have gone and look, just not her thing. Why should she care if people were fighting in the hallway that was their own problem and usual had nothing to do with Sabrina, but this time was a little different. This became evident when the door to her room opened and a person began to speak.

"Yes?" she replied removing her head from her pillow. :If your here about the fight I swear I had nothing to do with it nor did I....." her eyes spotted a bit of luggage that was to be assumed the girl who entered her room. "I guess there is a different reason why you are here isn't there?" she knew the answer to the question and it didn't make her happy, she was extremely comfortable as it was being in a room by herself, now she would have to deal with another person, and not only that she would have to give back the pillow she stole from the other bed.

This wasn't boding so well for Sabrina, but in reality would she actually do something about it? Answer most likely not in any way, shape, or form. With a yawn she moved herself to a sitting position. Keeping a hand on the other bed's pillow trying to establish that it was hers.

"I guess just make yourself at home. Use anything that you want and well.....yeah that is really all I got. Oh except my name which is Sabrina, since we are going to be roommates you can call me Reena." and with that she plopped back down on her bed facing the ceiling, the pillow now firmly pressed to her chest. She would attempt to hold onto this pillow for as long as possible, assuming that it would not be for long but that wouldn't stop her from holding onto it. She was here first after all.

Though the female didn't reply, she did spy, what seemed like, a shorter girl lying on a bed. So that meant that she wouldn't have a choice of where she was going to sleep after all. Oh well. Dragging her suitcase behind her, Kei threw it onto the now occupied bed before flopping onto it herself. "You better get used to it." She muttered softly to herself; referring more to having a new roommate that seemed like she didn't care. Well, it was good, she supposed, in comparison to her previous one. Yeuch.

She sat straight back up, fingering the latch of her suitcase before throwing an odd look towards the other. "Sabrina?" She hadn't heard a word the other had said earlier, but that was fine. She doubted it was anything important anyway. "I'm Keiko. But I insist you call me Kei." She didn't look very much like a 'Keiko' anyway. Said girl was about to look away, until she spied something clutched in the other's hands. "Is that..." Yes. It was a pillow. She glanced at her own bed, and found that it was very much devoid of one.

She shook her head, "You can keep that, so don't strangle it or anything." The other seemed quite possessive of the object after all. She stretched her arms up lightly, "Ugh, I have to unpack all my stuff again...took ages the last time..." She murmured to herself softly. "Tch." She took the luggage case by the handle and set it down at the end of her bed, leaning over the edge slightly. "I'll do it later." And pushed the case under the bed.

Knowing her, it will never be done. Flopping herself over, she turned so that her stomach was facing the ceiling, arm shielding the bright shine of the lightbulb. "Sleep time." She muttered, completely forgetting about conversing with the other female. Perhaps it was because Reena seemed so lazy just lying there that Kei half-felt like falling asleep again.

"Kei is it? I will try to commit that to memory, but I kind of doubt that it will actually stick. Too much work is put into remembering things, and since names are small they are even harder to tr and remember. So I'll probably end up calling you K." she sighed knowing it was the truth, she really was no good at remembering things especially names and school work. It wasn't her fault that it just too much work was it?

Her ears perked up at hearing what Kei had said. I can keep the pillow? her mind thought. Well that had been a surprise she expected Kei to take the pillow instantly, which would have made her sad but she could deal with it. Having a roommate might not have been so bad after all especially if it was this girl who seemed cool and as uncaring as she was. Besides it was a little lonely in this room with out someone else. It kind of seemed like a perfect match to be with this girl in this room. She quickly caught Kei saying that she was going to wait to unpack her things.

"Heh yeah. Too much work required to get everything in a place that it fits in. That's why I just shoved everything under my bed. Saved loads of time, and it is easy to get to." she rose to a sitting position again. Reena wanted to get a better look at her new roommate. Her orange hair her height, and her skin. She took all of these in, and she had to admit her new roommate was not bad to look at.

So far Kei had; A good attitude, looks, and was nice for giving Reena the pillow. "You know what you are cool." this came out in a yawn which made it difficult to understand. Reena honestly thought that the school year might have perked up just a bit, because the fact that she was not assigned someone lame from a roommate. Someone who would tell her to be more mannerful or always telling her that she should wearing something more lady like to bed. She wasn't a tomboy by any means, but she did prefer the simple night shirt to any form of night gown or pajamas.

Keiko simply shrugged at the even shorter name. Well, can't please everybody, she supposed (and she thought Keiko was hard to remember). "Suit yourself." She said, arm still pressing against her eyes. Her other arm rested on her belly; feeling the carefree grumbles it was making. Before, she told herself that she would eat. That was an hour ago. Besides, she didn't feel that hungry...even if her stomach protested otherwise.

Her offer of the pillow wasn't because she simply felt nice; it was just that her head always slipped off the pillow anyway, and she usually slept on her side, her arm serving as the pillow. So there was really no point in keeping something she wasn't going to use. Besides, the other seemed to need it more than she did as a...squish cushion or something of the sort. Though she supposed that sleeping on her side for the whole night wasn't good for her, seeing as she usually woke up with a cramped arm or shoulder. It hurt; and that was only the beginning. Sometimes she slept on her stomach as well, but never on her back. It made her feel slightly uncomfortable. At times, she also find herself curling into a fetal position...

And Kei had no idea why she was thinking about that. She had heard that how you slept determined how secure you were. Presenting your front (as in, sleeping on your back) meant you felt safe and secure. On your back meant you didn't trust people all that much. Fetal position spoke for itself, and on the side...well, that was normal. Or so she thought, at least.

She moved her arm slightly away from her eyes, and turned to stare at the other. "Great minds think alike." She commented. Honestly, shoving suitcases under beds was the best thing to do. She hated it when people made a big fuss about where to put their clothes. After the other had sat up, Kei had already shoved her arm back into sights view. Since she wasn't too good with listening to people in the first place, she missed the words that issued from Reena's mouth. All she heard were muffled sounds. "What?"

But before the other could even provide an answer, her stomach gave a low, audible growl. Not embarrassed by it, Kei sat up, just as her roommate had done. "Hey, are you hungry?" She asked curiously. Just to be polite, though if the other really was, she would...perhaps, go down to eat with the other. If not, she would go down anyway.

Reena wondered how far back had the other not heard if she was asking what, but she decided that she would just repeat the compliment, and stick with that. After all that was really the only important thing she had said to Kei so why repeat anything else it would just take up time and be work both which she hated.

"I said you are cool to have as a roommate that is all." Reena was not really annoyed that Kei had not listened she was the same after all, and thud had no room to complain about Kei's actions. Since she did think Kei was cool it was ok to repeat it even if it was a little extra work.

"Do I wanna grab somethin to eat?" she knew she was hungry, so it wasn't really a hard thing to decide, but there were a few complications that went along with going to breakfast. "Well I am hungry, but getting ready would be such a hassle and then getting there is even more work. I'm not sure if the reward is worth the work." a sigh come from her after saying this. It's true it was a lot of work just to get ready and get breakfast, but it was also true that she was getting hungrier by the minute. Her stomach showing this by rumbling itself.

Reena was not embarrassed either at her stomach show of her hunger, but she was annoyed. Kei might force her if she thought she was extremely hungry though Kei didn't really seem like that kind of girl.

At the repeated compliment, the taller girl blinked, "Oh...well..." Kei combed over the other briefly, before nodding to herself. "You're pretty cute yourself." Not cool, that wasn't the right word to describe the other from what she could see. Large eyes with a pink come red hue, short, blonde hair and a small yet tanned figure. Oh yes, cute. Though she was usually more for the dark beauty type, Kei supposed she didn't really care. After all, at least the other wasn't a sore sight for eyes. The opposite, if she thought more carefully...or was it always the opposite?

She decided to stop looking so thoroughly, in case the other thought she was a pervert, and nodded at the other's repetition of her question. At the overall decision, she tilted her head slightly to the side. "Huh..." Well, now she finally realized that the other was the lazy type. Perhaps as much as she was a procrastinator herself (though it was nothing grand to boast about, she supposed she liked the label). "Depending on what you mean by reward. I mean, you could get really hungry later and pig out on junk food, which means you have to do more exercise...and, I don't think you could be bothered doing that, then you'll get..." She rounded her hands around her own curves, before saying, "...a little chubby, if you know what I mean. Plus, you could get diabetes. So...eating now would be best for you in the long run."

She had a feeling that the other wouldn't really care, and Kei certainly didn't care about someone's size. If no exercise was done, then fitness came into question and that would be when she would start to really worry about someone's health. "Besides...you should eat more anyway; not junk food, but healthy stuff, since it could help you," Kei lifted her hand up horizontally from her stomach, then moved it to her shoulder, as if comparing heights, "To grow taller."

Yes, she did like to use hand demonstrations.

"But if you don't want to eat then I don't think I would bother trying to change your mind." The red-haired girl shrugged, dark brown eyes covered by her eyelids for a split second as she blinked. "I'll go down myself, then come back up later." Her legs started to move towards the door, and when her hand was once more, wrapped around a door handle, she flicked her gaze at Reena. "Unless you want me to drag you there for a little motivation." She asked, half-teasingly.

A lot of things could not make this girl blush; hunger noises coming from her stomach, talking in sleep, someone seeing her in a pile of drool while she slept, stuffing her face and getting messy, or even her underwear being revealed, but being called cute by someone who could be described as either beautiful, or girl handsome that was a different story, it caused her face to light up like Rudolph's nose. She just wasn't used to being called that by someone else.

"Um...thanks." she said quietly. Reena was unaware of what else could possibly be said in a situation like that. She could have complimented the other girl back but then maybe she would come off as flirty, not something she desired in the least. The lazy bum of the school she could handle, but not being called a flirtacious tease that was just too much for her, though thinking that flirting once would get her called that was a bit dramatic.

Reena tried to snap back as Kei started to talk about all the adverse effects of munching on junk food all the time, all which bore some truth. "I am not really one to care about my size, and I really do not want to grow taller that would be a pain and besides staying short keeps me...." she paused for a moment thinking back to how the girl had called her cute, a small blush returned because of this. "....cute" she finished her sentence feeling stupid for both the pause and the blush.

"Drag me!?" now that couldn't be right Kei wouldn't actually drag her would she? Reena highly doubted her so of course challenged her. "Well for one you don't seem like you actually would, and two you can't just drag me out while I am wearing my night shirt. It would get me in trouble, and though I really don't care if I am trouble or not it is still boring having to listen to one of the teachers lecture me in the proper ways to dress, and or act while staying here." she sighed thinking about the last lecture she had, which she really did not care for one bit.

Kei decided not to comment on the reaction the other had to her compliment. Instead, she was busy listening (im)patiently to the other talking about staying short, and decided to add oil to the fire. "...actually, you're right. I'd prefer it if you stayed short and cute." She patted the air, "Much nicer that way." After all, a tall cutie just didn't seem right to her...especially if the tall cutie was taller than her. That would be slightly awkward. However, right now, Kei was too hungry to care. Had it been any other time, she would have tried to bait the other into arguing with her or debating on the matter.

But it wasn't just any other time, so Kei simply left it as it was. "Um...yes, drag you. And y'know...I would if I wanted to; don't think what could be false." Here, she simply grinned slightly, "Secondly, again, I could if I wanted to. But really, if you're so against the idea, you could have simply told me you didn't want to eat." She paused for a second, tapping her foot against the ground before shrugging once more. "Ah well. I won't touch you. I wouldn't want to be kicked out again, especially from a room with a cute girl in it."

She winked at the other discreetly before chuckling. "Hey, but seriously, I could just get something for you. And if we aren't allowed, I'll just sneak some stuff to you." She would do that, actually. And she wouldn't care if she was caught; she was used to it. Besides, Kei had snuck around a lot, so she doubted that she would be caught easily...unless she was carrying a large armful of food. However, taking another glance at the other's petite form, she didn't think the other ate a lot anyway.
